Our Independent Living Service supports people to lead independent lives within the community, based on their individual needs. For example, we can support individuals with the tasks involved in managing their homes, pursuing their social lives and leisure activities and obtaining employment and training.

The service supports people in the 6 South East Wales local authorities of Newport, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent and Powys.

The service is available to people with a wide range of needs such as learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health problems who usually live alone (or with one other person).

This is a highly flexible service and the support ranges from just a few hours a week to 24 hours a day - from a few days to many years. We are able to adapt and change very quickly as the needs of the people we support change.
