People supported by reach who live in the Cardiff area, were invited to pick up their pens or paintbrushes and use their creative flair to design a Christmas e-card that will be emailed out to reach business partners.
The competition certainly captured the imagination and lots of festive entries were received, with Bethan Evans, Reach Corporate Director and Chris Paul, reach Director of Performance and Service Delivery having the extremely difficult task of choosing an overall winner.
The fabulous winning design was by Debbie Hall from Holly Court. Debbie particularly loves birds and decided to combine her love of birds with a Christmas theme, which we think is absolutely perfect!
Bethan Evans visited Debbie to give her the good news and to present her with a bouquet of flowers and a Hobbycraft voucher. Debbie was thrilled to have won, and told us ‘I love Hobbycraft, they have so many nice things, I will have to think about what I want to spend my vouchers on’.
Debbie is a very talented artist and spends a lot of her spare time drawing and colouring. In the past she has had her work framed and a lot of this work is hanging in her Mum’s house. She has also got a few of her pictures hanging in her bedroom in Holly Court.
Debbie also informed us that she was currently working on drawing a squirrel and that an otter was the next creature on her long list of animal subjects.
Congratulations to Debbie for winning and thank you to everyone else who entered!
