Our aim is "To support customers to live life to the full".
In working towards this goal we focus on people's needs and aspirations, as well as their rights and responsibilities. What this means in practice is that our services are realistically centred on what people tell us they want. This not only helps them to develop their daily living skills and pursue their interests, it also helps them, at a deeper level, to lead more satisfying and fulfilled lives.
Support staff work very closely with people and, for those with personal care needs, occasionally very intimately. We place a high priority on our support and training for staff and have a well established in-house training section which comprises NVQ Assessors and experienced trainers.
Additionally we adopt thorough monitoring processes to ensure that we continue to provide high quality services. These are based on positive outcomes so that people can experience real improvements in their lives.
A vital element of our work is to maintain partnerships with Social Services, Health Trusts, relatives, carers and others who all play an important role in ensuring that individuals receive a flexible and high quality support service.
